LED Micro Glow
SKIN, PERFECTED
L.E.D. Light Therapy, also known as Light Emitting Diode Therapy, is a non-invasive skin care treatment which utilizes varying wavelengths of light. We are one of the first companies to incorporate the use of LED Light Therapy with the micro-needle pen while depositing skin care BB glow serums to the skin at the same time. This step not only provides better results for the clients but also eliminates an additional 15-20 step!

Depending on the depth and results required, we use either a nano needle to infuse anti-aging ingredients into the skin, or perform a more traditional micro-needling treatment with the 12-pin cartridge.

Know Your BB Glow
Do you know what's in your BB Glow serums? Many customers including professionals, don't! Ingredients such as parabens, solvents and even horse fat (!) show up in popular bb glow and micro needle serums, were not designed to be used on open skin, and lead to higher rates of irritation and side effects.

Prestige Esthetic has worked with top of the line labs to formulate the best serums available, with safety and efficacy in mind. with no crazy ingredients! Our BB Glow shade range is diverse and can be mixed for custom colors and skin matching while our micro-needle serums offer intense hydration and anti-aging effects.

DISPELLING MYTHS: You may have heard companies saying that their BB Glow serums do not contain titanium dioxide or that their serums are tinted with botanical extracts. This is complete and utter BS! Please do not believe this nonsense. To provide color to a serum you must add proper medical grade colorants otherwise you would not have consistent, achievable results. Tattoo pigments are completely safe to use and have been used for many years! BB Glow serums are NOT placed at the same depth as a tattoo. It is superficial, hence why the color needs multiple sessions and does not last longer than 4 months.

Human skin has many layers, and to correctly treat the client's skin concern we must know what depth to work with to effectively produce results.

We train our students to with in-depth knowledge and anatomy of the skin, as well as selecting the correct serums, color mixing and led light to use during the LED Micro Glow service for the client's skin issue. In only one session, results can be seen! We do however recommend a series of 3-6 sessions to get the full benefits.
Selecting The correct Depth
-
What is hyaluronic acid?Hyaluronic acid (HA) also known as hyaluronan and sodium hyaluronate, is a cabohydrate. More specifically, it is a natural sugar or mucopolysaccharide and can be found occuring naturally throughout the human body. It can be thousands of sugars (carbohydrates) long. When this substance binds to water, it becomes a very viscous gel with a quality very similar to jelly.
-
Is this the same as botox? No, they are completely different services. Hyaluronic acid gel is a filler which adds volume to the skin, filling in fines lines, wrinkles and giving lips a larger enhancement. Botox on the other hand, is a toxin which is injected into specific muscles to cause paralysis (relaxing). When the muscles are not able to contract, the face cannot form new or deepen current wrinkles. And, with time, the existing wrinkles decrease in depth as long as the client continues to receive the Botox injections.
-
Who can perform this service? We offer our courses to licensed professionals such as estheticians, cosmetologists, medical aestheticians, doctors, nurses, permanent make-up artists and other similar licensed professionals. It is your responsibility to make sure that the service you are wanting to learn is approved under the license that you hold. Check with all state and country laws and obtain any necessary licensure.
-
Is this service safe?Yes, but only when offered by a certtified professional who has had all the proper training.
-
What areas can I treat? With the hyaluron pen, we are able to treat fine lines, deep wrinkles, scars and add volume and contours to the face and body.
-
How much should I chargeThe price you charge will depend upon where you live and the demographics of your city/area. The current average for this service, however, is between $200-$400 per 1ml of product/service.
-
How long does it take? Most hyaluron pen services can be quickly treated in 60 minutes or less. This includes skin prep, numbing, the treatment itself and aftercare instructions.
-
What are the side effects? Most clients will have very mild swelling, redness and sometimes slight bruising which resolves within 3-5 days. The side effects associated with the hyaluron pen treatment are much more mild and significantly less severe than those associated with traditional injectable fillers.
